I have been using Apple's iPad case for a while, and decided to switch to something new. I was amazed at the price of this cover, and at the fact that it came with a protective film for the screen as well. Now that I have it, I am mostly satisfied, but would like to point out a couple things:
1) The cover is not quite what is pictured. The images show a cover that completely wraps the back of the iPad. However, mine arrived with a large circle in it to expose the Apple logo. Not a huge deal, but clearly not what was advertised. In addition, one user's close-up pictures indicated that the various control buttons along the edge of the icon were exposed. Instead, the skin I received actually covers those buttons, and has silicone protrusions that must be pressed instead.
2) This is probably just me, but I'm never quite satisfied with screen protectors. Something is lost in the look and feel once the screen protector is applied. I suppose it's a matter of personal preference, but after having the screen protector on for a couple days, I tired of it and removed it.
For the price, I don't regret the purchase, but I did not receive quite what was pictured, and was not happy with the screen protector.

Met all expectations based on reviews I have read prior to purchase. The cutting for the apple logo was expected...and feel it does provide added grip ...so no complaint there either. Great value!

The iPad out of the box is very slippery in my opinion. This case does a good job of protecting it plus making it easier to hold by adding a soft surface. It looks OK, nothing to get excited about but it does the job.

Skin fits snug to the IPad - thankfully not so tight that it peeled back my zagg shield.

I really like this case. I have bought a few of the higher $$ cases out there and this is the one I have been most satisfied with.
PROS:
-Cost as much as a value meal at McDonalds
-Case has a nice appearance, pattern is not to distracting and you can see the apple logo through it
-Has a nice tacky feel, good grip
-Corners are well padded
-button cut outs are tapered for easy access
CONS:
-a little rough around the edges. most of the case is of quality construction, but if you run your hands along the vertical edge it feels slightly unfininshed
-thin bottom piece near 30 pin connector should be beefed up.
-My biggest problem with this order, and the primary reason it was given 4 stars was the fact that I ordered the smoke and the clear. the clear one has a circular cut-out that i DO NOT like, it was not pictured or specified. I'm really not sure how this happened but CTC store needs to get their Sh^& together and post accurate pics/info on their product. I didn't return the clear one because it was only 7 dollars.
I highly reccomend this case for someone who just wants a decent amount of scratch/short fall protection for less than 5 bucks.
